Douglas DC10 as Commander from 1987 – 1992 and 1994 to 1997. B747 200/300 as Commander from 1992 to 1994. MacDonell Douglas MD 11, as Commander from 1997 to 2001 and B777 as Commander from 2001 to 2003.

Administrative duties: Assistant to the Operations Superintendence of VARIG, in São Paulo, from 1987 to 1988. Representative of the Operations Board of VARIG for Porto Alegre Base, from 1990 to 1994. Director of EVAER (Varig School of Aeronautics) from 1990 to 1992. Member of the Deliberative College of the Ruben Berta Foundation, VARIG’s parent company, from 1994 to 2003.

Academic functions: Representative of VARIG S.A. in the Academic Council of the Faculty of Aeronautical Sciences of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil (PUCRS). Professor of FCA at PUCRS, from 1994 to 2013. Coordinator of General and Management Disciplines at PUCRS from 1996 to 1998 and from 2001 to 2005. Bachelor in Geography from the Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences at PUCRS in 2012.

Associative Functions: Technical Director of APVAR (Association of Pilots of VARIG), responsible for the edition of the Magazine “Contato” of APVAR, from 1973 to 1976 and from 1979 to 1980. Regional Vice President (São Paulo) of AVAR, from 1984 to 1986.

Current activity: Embraer 190/195 Simulator Instructor at AZUL Linhas Aéreas, at the Azul University, Campinas, SP, since February 2014.
